Watch: Dr. Ivan Bracic on a Full Body Stretch That Is Not Decompression

By

In this short, Dr. Ivan Bracic, DC, clinical director at Novaré Injury Care and Rehab in Fort Myers, reacts to a full body stretch he does himself and explains what it reaches: the shoulders, wrists, elbows, hips, lower trunk and a little of the spine. He is clear that it isn't decompression, and suggests it as a way to start or end the day.

So I see Katie here doing this stretch, and I gotta tell you, I do it all the time, and it's a great stretch, especially for my shoulders, my wrists, my elbows, my hips, and my lower trunk. And yes, a little bit on the spine.

It's not decompression, but hey, it really does feel good.

It's a way for you to start your day, perhaps maybe at the end of the day when you've been compressed all day long. Great stretch. Go, Katie.
