When medication is appropriate, Tara can prescribe and monitor treatment within her clinical scope. Medication decisions are individualized and based on examination findings, health history, potential risks and the patient's response to care.
Medication is not automatically prescribed simply because a patient requests it. Tara's role is to make a responsible medical assessment and recommend the most appropriate next step.

A knee injection may be considered for certain patients experiencing pain, inflammation or reduced joint function. Before recommending an injection, Tara evaluates the patient's symptoms, medical history, previous treatments and available diagnostic information.

Earlier in her career, she worked as an orthopedic registered nurse at Lee Memorial Hospital, providing postoperative care, patient education and recovery support. Her background also includes extensive perioperative nursing experience in surgical and reconstructive settings.
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Suncoast Integrated Medical Center, Tara provided physical examinations, medication management and chronic-condition follow-up. She also administered intra-articular joint injections under fluoroscopic guidance.
This combination of orthopedic, procedural, medical and advanced-practice experience gives Tara a strong foundation for evaluating patients whose pain may involve multiple factors.
