Your Pain May. Be Coming From Your Disc.

You have probably heard it before. Take ibuprofen. Lose weight. Do some stretches. Give it time.

Meanwhile, the pain shoots down your leg every time you stand up. Your back locks up after sitting for twenty minutes. You cannot bend over to tie your shoes without bracing yourself. This is not weakness. This is not age. These are common symptoms of what happens when a disc in your spine bulges or herniates and presses on a nerve.
Disc injuries often do not resolve with rest alone. Pain medications may mask symptoms without addressing the underlying compression. And the longer you wait, the more your body may compensate with movement patterns that become harder to correct. The question is not whether the pain is real. The question is whether you will get it properly diagnosed and treated before compensatory patterns become harder to address.

Not a Basic Chiropractic Office. A Medically Integrated Disc Treatment Center.

Most chiropractors adjust your spine and send you home. That approach can help some conditions. But disc injuries are different. They require precision, imaging, and a treatment protocol that addresses the actual mechanism of the problem.

Novare Injury Care and Rehab is a licensed medical corporation with a vetted network of surgeons, including neurosurgeons that we consult with on complex cases. That structure exists for one reason: disc injuries are complex and they deserve more than a five-minute adjustment.

Here is what that means for you:-

Why Disc Injuries Linger and What It Takes to Address Them

Your spinal discs are the shock absorbers between your vertebrae. They have a tough outer ring and a gel-like center. When that outer ring weakens or tears, the center pushes outward. That is a bulge. When it breaks through completely, that is a herniation.

The problem is location. Your spinal nerves exit right next to those discs. When disc material pushes into that space, it can compress the nerve. That is where sciatica comes from. That is where the shooting leg pain, the numbness, the tingling, and the weakness originate.

Proper recovery requires three things:-

Spinal decompression works differently. It gently stretches the spine in a controlled, cyclical pattern designed to create negative pressure inside the disc. This negative pressure is intended to help pull the bulging or herniated material back toward the center, take pressure off the nerve, and allow nutrients and oxygen to flow back into the disc for healing.

How Spinal Decompression Works at Novaré

The goal is not temporary relief. The goal is to reduce disc pressure, support healing and help you return to normal function.

1. Diagnosis

Your first visit includes a full evaluation and imaging when appropriate. We identify exactly what is injured, how severe it is, and what it will take to address it.

2. Treatment

Based on your diagnosis, we build a care plan that may include chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, Class IV laser therapy, shockwave therapy.

3.Recovery

We track your progress. We adjust your plan as you improve. And we document everything so your medical records reflect the full scope of your injury.

What Our Patients Say

Real patients. Real recoveries. Hear directly from people who trusted us with their injury care and experienced thorough evaluation, guided treatment, and support throughout every step of recovery.

  • "I went in with lower back pain. The doctor checked out my MRI and X-rays and discovered three herniated disks. This herniated disc was also causing severe sciatic pain. After an initial adjustment, I was placed on their high tech spinal."

  • "I have suffered with scoliosis and a multitude of bulging discs in my spine for years now due to many car accidents. I have made more healing progress in the past five months than I did in the past few years thanks to them."

  • "Walked into the office after multiple Drs and multiple medications that weren't helping me with my severely herniated disks, and was met by someone who was willing to hear me out and actually asked about my history."

Questions You Might Be Asking

Clear, honest answers about symptoms, timelines, insurance, and treatment options so you understand your injuries, protect your rights, and make confident decisions after a car accident with professional guidance.

No. Most patients find it relaxing. The table gently stretches your spine in a controlled, cyclical pattern. Many patients fall asleep during treatment.

It depends on the severity of your condition. Treatment duration varies based on your specific diagnosis, and we will give you an honest assessment after your evaluation.

Insurance doesn’t cover your much needed spinal decompression treatments. Our pricing is lower to accommodate all people.

Many of our patients were told surgery was their only option. Spinal decompression is not appropriate for every case, but for many people it provides an alternative worth exploring before surgery. We will review your imaging and give you an honest assessment.

Traditional traction applies constant, static pulling. Spinal decompression uses a computerized, cyclical pattern designed to prevent muscle guarding and create the negative intradiscal pressure intended to help retract disc material. The technology and approach are different.
